Training Course from Prepare Ministries
I am truly so excited to share with you the training course that helped me become fully funded as a missionary.
In 2014, I took this course in person with Rob Parker, its creator, as part of a ministry school semester. I learned not only the biblical basis of partnership development but also the practical process, and I came to respect the intentionality behind every step.
After graduating in 2016, confident in my calling to full-time ministry, I put what I had learned into action. For hours each day, I secluded myself in my bedroom-turned-office, signing letters, handwriting postcards, making phone calls, and following up. I drove to meetings all over the region, and within a few months, my partnership team was formed and I was able to move to Texas as a fully funded missionary.
I could not have done that without this training. While I’ve since developed many of my own processes, which I now share through Fearlessly Funded, this course laid the foundation that allowed me to leave my job and step into ministry full-time.
Revisiting this video course recently, I’ve been freshly blown away by the value of the content that is packed into these videos. It’s designed to set missionaries up for success, and it delivers.
I cannot recommend this course highly enough for anyone preparing to raise support or strengthen their current support base. Over 2000 missionaries have been trained in this model, and I’ve seen its effectiveness proven time and time again.
I believe in this training and have recommended it for years.
The course is roughly 8 hours long broken into three sections of short videos:
Section A: Getting Our Minds Right
Section B: Model and Strategy
Section C: Prepare and Launch
These three sections cover everything—from the biblical foundation of partnership development and overcoming mental blocks to writing your letter, building connections, and conducting your "ask" meeting. You’ll also learn how to expand your reach through referrals, small groups, and churches. (Can you imagine never hitting the wall of running out of contacts again?!)
